Actually when I start seeing little brown ants in the house I go outside with the borax and sugar water. The driveway cracks get all kinds of ants and I just pour the mix along the cracks. A week goes by and no new dirt and no ants inside.

Never seen the need to start the engine if draining. They all gravity drain. And if you do start it the pint of fluid is gone in a few seconds.
