I have driven 5 or 6 recent Hemis and each one was quite like a sewing machine.

I used their filters for years on my inboard V6 & never had a problem but the filters for the GM inboards don’t have bypass valves because the bypass is in the filter mount on the block. I did have trouble with one of their spin on fuel filters because the threads weren’t cut properly.

Not sure what to think. I have read everything about cam/lifter problems on late model Hemis and never got a definitive explanation cause or solution. Mines been fine but it’s the early pre VVT version.

If buying a car with a timing belt it’s good to know if it is an interference engine or not. In the years I had cars with timing belts I had them changed on time & never had a failure.
