    Sharrow boat propellers

There are multiple tests on YouTube. In every case, the Sharrow was tested against the manufacturer's stainless prop{s}.

    How OLD are you.

I was 10 years old when this show came about, never missed an episode.

    Sharrow boat propellers

The midrange decrease in gallons per hour is impressive as is the lower RPM required to plane. With fuel savings, I can see where a fishing guide or other commercial user could get their investment back easily over time. As far as the average Joe the pricing vs the advantages just doesn't work.

Chicago-style deep dish pizza vs NYC pizza

I've never had either, but as Carmudgeon said above, there is no bad pizza.

Finally got the boat out of storage

A 7.6l V12 with a two-speed transmission and contra-rotating props is not lacking for torque at any RPM.

    New phone...Pixel 8 pro vs S23

I have an 8 PRO and and I'm well pleased. I can't compare the two you mentioned as this is my 4th or 5th Pixel. It has exceeded my expectations in every way but one...standard storage is 128, inexcusable for a flagship phone. I coughed up the extra $50 for 256. The pure Android experience and...

    PC finally too old

I have a top-shelf Lenovo Legion 17" laptop bought new in 2017. It still does everything expected of it but runs Windows 10 and will not take Win 11. It's essentially a paperweight after Oct 2025, pity.

What happened to the types of topics on BITOG?

I've been a member here for a long time, long enough that Bob and I spoke on the phone several times. I welcome the changes and progression here. "This here water thin 20 wt oil will blow up your engine" crap got really old really quick. There's more to life than oil.

    Next Android phone?

I'm on my 5th phone from Fi but I've always paid for them in full, all were (are) unlocked. I wasn't aware of the restriction on promotional offers. Thanks for the information.

    Next Android phone?

IIncorrect. All Pixel phones are unlocked from Google Fi. From Fi: "Any phone you get from Google Fi Wireless comes unlocked and can be used with other wireless providers if you choose to leave our service."

What would cause phone to suddenly not detect SIM card??

I had a SIM card go bonkers with a Nexus phone from Google. They sent me a new one overnight. This was some years ago before Pixel phones, I doubt they would be so accommodating today. Remove it and go esim, your phone has the capability.

Will doing this cleanup delete my remembered usernames and passwords?

No, it doesn't. I use that every single day without fail. On the main page under options, then cookies, then cookies to keep, you list those you don't want removed.

Good over the air tv antenna?

I have this one from Antennas Direct indoors sitting on a low cabinet. My neighbor with rabbit ears gets 3 channels, I get 16 which is the max for my area. It's not cheap but it it darn sure works.
