    That's my bad if I grabbed the wrong SDS. However, 2EH definitely is an issue in HD diesel engines using silicone hoses, seals and head gaskets. We see the negative effects of it all the time in conversion opportunities.

    The more I learn about this stuff, the less concerned I am with oil/lube filtration...the choice of lubricant used is way more important than the filter from what I see. Fuel filtration on the other hand is a different discussion.

    Distilled, de-ionized or reverse osmosis treated water is the only way to go with mixing your own coolant. Much better off just using pre-mix coolants unless you're buying bulk.

    If you guys really want to see a filter autopsy, let's have him send it to our lab in Cookeville, Tennessee for analysis. SEM photos, oil analysis...the full work up.
