    Bought a used Simplicity Regent

Sold the Toro SS 4225 zero turn a couple weeks ago. Wasn't happy with the cut, the wife couldn't steer it, and we have a water drainage ditch it always wanted to nosedive. So bought the Simplicity. I think it is a 2015 or 2016. Best I can tell the engine (23hp Briggs Professional) is 2015. 186...

    Oil filter Kohler 7000 series?

My dad has a Kohler 7000 series 25hp engine on his 2020 Cub Cadet XT2. What aftermarket filters fit? I had a 23hp 7000 series that I used a Fram on, but don't remember the exact filter model and not sure if 25hp would be different.

    Ordered 2021 RAM Limited

"Need"? No. But when it is 30 below in the morning and the truck sits outside, it is easier on the engine and the vehicle heats up much faster. Well worth the $95 IMO.

    Ordered 2021 RAM Limited

Doesn't work like a hybrid. Watch the video below. One thing they don't tell you is that it feels a bit funny when stopping due to the regenerative braking to recharge the 48v battery. Most people don't notice or care, but it is the main reason I ordered the Limited with regular Hemi. I am...

    Ordered 2021 RAM Limited

Pretty close. On my order I have the regular non-eTorque Hemi and chrome bumpers. Only bed utility group and engine block heater (and 4x4) added as options from the base Limited. I also got the indigo/frost (navy and tan) interior.

Have a trade value locked in from the dealer I ordered from for a value I am satisfied with.

2020 Ram 1500 Big Horn Edition: 10,000 mile review

7000 miles on a 2020 Laramie 1500. Only a couple very minor problems. Love the truck. But with the prices how they are, I am trading it in for an ordered Limited. Probably won't arrive until August. Had a 2018 F150 with the 5.0 that was nothing but problems, would take a RAM any day over that...

    Nothing. I am guessing August.

    Snapper or Cub Cadet?

Well, turns out the Broadmoor doesn't have power steering until 2021, and the non-current is a 2019. Not sure if PS is that important, haven't tried with vs without. Kind of starting square 1. Need to go try a bunch to see. May look at a zero turn with the steering wheel (wife can drive it)...

    Snapper or Cub Cadet?

After looking a while today and a few dealer visits, I think I am going to get a used or new non-current Simplicity Broadmoor. Mainly for power steering, and to avoid the depreciation. A local dealer has one $5k MSRP for $4k. I have a good relationship with them, maybe they would go lower to get...

    Snapper or Cub Cadet?

So the floating deck is considered bad? My lawn is relatively flat but a little bouncy. I have two drainage ditches in front yard I mow. What should I look for in JD? I can add them to the list, but don't know much about them. 300 series?

    Snapper or Cub Cadet?

No Kubota in stock. Not a fan of Husky. Toro doesn't make tractors anymore. Also might add this Simplicity to the list. https://www.simplicitymfg.com/na/en_us/product-catalog/lawn-tractors/regent-lawn-tractor.html

    Snapper or Cub Cadet?

Just sold my Toro 42" zero turn, looking at getting a tractor. I think it is between the CC XT46 (Msrp $2900) or Snapper XPS 48" (Msrp $3149). Main differences besides width are a 1 gauge thicker deck on the Snapper, and the CC has a Kawasaki FR Series engine, the Snapper has a Commercial line...

Ford Says Electric F-150 Will Start Under $40,000. It Can Also Power Your Home

So many people that don't care about the African kids mining cobalt for the batteries of their fancy new truck.

Ford Says Electric F-150 Will Start Under $40,000. It Can Also Power Your Home

Correct. Will be too occupied with how the regenerative braking feel ruins the driving experience.

Should i sell my truck? (Get a "real" truck later)

As another data point... My 2020 Laramie 1500 bought Sept 30 last year. I got a good deal (12% off MSRP dealer discount, $3500 rebates, $1000 Conquest rebate, $1000 rebate code for being a member of PenFed credit union), about 21% off of MSRP $55,135. So I paid right about $43,500. 4800 miles...

Traded in two vehicles, and bought a new truck

Congrats. You got a good price considering the market. The color is nice, too. I have a 2020 Laramie with the mild hybrid and don't like the feel of the regenerative braking. I would think a normal hybrid would be felt more in this regard, but a lot if people don't mind or even notice. So with...

I may have made a mistake buying a new truck last week... thoughts?

So an update to this thread... I kept the truck. The etorque driving characteristics got better, but still would choose not to have it. So... I chose not to have it and ordered a Limited two days ago. Glad I waited, the used market has gotten nuts. Thread about new build...

    Ordered 2021 RAM Limited

Before buying my current RAM I test drove a few different new generation GMC/Chevy. Driving characteristics and interior don't compare to RAM, IMO. Plus I don't know how they are still using DI-only engines (vs dual injected) and the crappy 8 speed instead of the much better 10 speed developed...
