Looking at the TacSol X-Ring VR - https://www.tacticalsol.com/products/x-ring-vr-rifles/ I have several 22's around the house but not a true tack driver. These caught my eye. Does anyone have one that can provide feedback on the brand. Research is positive from what I can tell.

Love the 3 but I would prefer to get an SUV for the additional ground clearance. If the price is right, I would buy another Mazda in a heartbeat.

This is for a young adult, so the size is not a big issue at the moment. Really trying to stay under 28K OTD and I want this to be new. I'll swing by the Toyota Stealer and see if they are dealing much on these. I am partial to Toyota I suppose. There are 6 in the driveway at the moment :oops...

Thanks for all the replies and feedback everyone. The other vehicles we are considering are the CX-30 & the Corolla Cross. The CX-30 is probably the next closest choice for us. We owned one and liked it but sold ours due to the size of the fuel tank and milage range. That car was hard to beat...

Hopefully someone here owns one and will chime in. I'm going to try and test drive one after the holidays, so I get my own perspective. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be just fine for his needs.

150k belt life isn't too bad.

I think they are really targeting that low price point. It's getting harder and harder to find a decent new vehicle for 25K that is fairly well equipped. Quite a nice digital gauge cluster and infotainment system also.

Thats odd, the online review are quite positive. With over 160 ft lbs of torque, the reviews say it's quite fun to drive.

I haven't found the service interval for the timing belts on this yet. I am curious too. I would be amazed if he had this car for 5 years anyway.

He has, unfortunately he thinks a 1992 k20 would be a good commuter for 70 miles a day, 5 days a week 🤣

I was originally looking for AWD, but in all reality, the Corolla has been more than adequate with snow tires. This would give him more ground clearance than the Corolla and we would run a good all-season tire that carries the three peak mountain snow tire rating (Nokian AW01) for the crummy days.

It would be for a 23 year old so those are out. I looked into those also, but he won't drive a Buick. Kids :sleep:

5 NOCO chargers here and zero problems. A 4 bank, 2 bank, a couple of single 2 amp ones and a single 1 amp. Hopefully it was an isolated incident. Curious to hear what happened from NOCO.
