2023 kia sportage 2.5L smartstream 5k oci. 10k mi on car. Out dealership 0w-20 In Liquimoly 0w-20 I had leftover oil from my bmw. I’ll be doing a short 3k oci then switching to 5w-30

I just used some shop towels to wipe down my pan and it was fine. Just make sure to take the magnet out and wipe that down. My magnet was pretty dirty.

Welp. I broke the hard lines while installing the stainless lines. Now, I have to wait to get parts from the dealership. :cry:

You could go with motul specific 0w-30 LL01FE or Castrol Edge Euro 0w-30. Otherwise, LL04 Pennzoil Euro L 5w-30 is also very good and readily available at walmart. I run castrol euro in my B58.

I definitely avoid rainx after reading many posts like this on bimmerpost. I usually run the supertech fluid from walmart or the purple splash fluid.

I can't wait to get rid of my mom's 19 tucson. It currently has 55k miles but got an engine at 44k. My sister's 18 sonata drinks oil. Last oil change after 5k less than a quart came out.

What OCI?

For my e90 I order the gallon jugs online. Valvoline dex vi (blue bottle). Roughly 6-7 quarts. Filling it would've been easier if the T-case wasn't in the way.

Yeah, I'm surprised my sister's sonata hasn't blown up yet. After 5k miles only a quart came out. I wonder what will happen first blown engine or stolen car.

I’m doing 335i brake upgrade on my 328i. I used por-15 caliper paint. I would probably use g2 or spray paint next time.

If you get an e9x try to find one with the sport seats. Here is my smooth dash e90. Oyster / aluminum has definitely become one of my fav combos.
