    i sold 2 of them to a guy. his tire shop changed over his winter tires then refused to install 2 of his summers for being too worn. i didnt see the tires so it could have been legit.

    the tread was real soft around the puncture. i trusted their opinion on that. i have a manual tire changer and a bubble balancer. the tire changer is a bit hard on rims. i was trying to do the right thing by going to the pros. im not even mad just trying to learn.

    thanks for all the replies. the fords ive worked on just have simple plastic ones. this one is a completely different beast. im guessing the worst case would be it would suck in air with the oil and damage the pump. its looking like im worrying more then i need to though.
