Every fuel filter I removed from that Peterbilt I had or my f250 was always clean. Same with the ones I replaced at the construction company I worked at. As long as guys didn't get fuel from the tank in the yard we didn't see dirty filters.

Looks like there was only 1 engine option. A 345 HP 400. The fact that it was born a 442 increases it's value over a standard cutless immensely. So having all original panels,no rust etc is very important to it's value. A Google search shows $15k as the low end.

I also do not understand the reasoning behind doing this. Go buy a QT of mobil1 or Amsoil and run that a few years instead of puttung used oil in it .

FYI if the Timing belt has not been replaced do it now and don't wait. Contraire to popular believe it can bend valves.

My machine removes oil when it removes the refrigerant. Usually a couple of ounces. I would suck it out , refill, repeat to get the excess oil out.

Let's put a 401 in it!
