I don't see a part number on the cover and didn't keep any receipts. I went to a small family owned business that sells and services small engines and outdoor power equipment, and told them the engine I had and what I was looking for, and he had it on hand.

Took a quick picture of the pickup, and also a couple with my wifes CR-V parked beside it and behind. It's not the massive high powered unit that someone on here was concerned with.

Have to do the first one out in the cold this weekend, then planning on changing oil every 6 months, spring and fall. Good idea on taking it out for a longer drive.

Perhaps it's different where CKN lives. Around here we share the roads with all types of drivers with different skill levels. The grandparents that had this F-150, had more driving experience than the majority of the other drivers on the road, yet they are not very good drivers anymore. Kids...

Its 4wd. Hard to find 2wd around here. Its scary sending them out on their own in the winter, but they have to learn just like we did.

Thanks for the replies. I watched a few youtube videos about changing spark plugs, and a few said changing them while the engine is hot. Is that the better way to do it? I haven't changed plugs on a hot engine before.

Thanks for the replies. I took a closer look at the tires and discovered that the factory tires are all stamped made in USA, and the tire I bought says made in Korea. So hopefully its just a softer grade of rubber on that tire and not an alignment issue.

Just got a new set of Dirt Devils for our Polaris. The Carlisle that came with it had decent wear left but didn't perform well even when they were new, but got really bad once the squared lugs rounded off a little.

So you go with a flat 7000k interval, and not follow the maintenance minder? What percent is it typically at when you change it?

Its nice to hear the miles you got out of it going with long intervals. We do have the 3/4 mile short trips that can be difficult to factor in the interval based on miles.
