This is great timing on this info regarding QCI 8 grandfathering on Warp. I'm currently on an annual plan with Red Pocket that expires on 8/22, and I am going to jump over to US Mobile and will do so prior to 8/18 to get the grandfathered priority level!

I agree for the base Jetta/Golf, but on the GLI/GTI/R I'm surprised it's such a long throw from the factory.

The J35 has been DI since 2014 (2016 in the Pilot). My DI J35 is what I would consider severe service due to short tripping in an extreme climate, and I've had no issues with excessive dilution and no signs of carbon issues. I have 100k on the odo. Not an issue like it was on the pre-2016...

That's just it, I'm happy with the premium cost...under $1200 for 500k not including additional structures and other riders that I have is cheap. I would gladly pay more to get my old wind/hail deductible back. I was told today Progressive has nothing below 2%.

My renewal just came with a decrease in premium by 15%. Of course, the kicker is instead of $1500 all perils/$1500 wind and hail they now want $1500 all perils and 2% wind and hail (in my case over $10k). I'll follow up but I assume it is what it is. At least they are charging me less for worse...

So back to the question after more futile searching for the gasket for my specific model turning up no results: would you cut your own or use RTV?

Thanks, it's the PR48BT which per Parts Tree only offers the entire cylinder rebuild kit and not just the gasket.

It drips fuel/oil on the floor after running that turns into a small puddle. I've isolated that gasket to be the source. I cleaned up the seepage around the gasket (can see it a little in the pic) and it immediately stared seeping again. It runs smoothly.

I have a Poulan Pro 2 stroke backpack blower that is leaking at this gasket. Online searching hasn't provided a replacement option. Am I better off cutting my own out of gasket material or using high heat RTV?

I always thought 80 was the highest in the US. I learned something new.
