    Cummins 6.7L general questions

I poked around in the uoas, yours did better than most. Most were fords, and they ended roughly 10-10.999cst. Still solidly in the 30 range.

So... Toyota WS and Aisin WS are not the same.

    Cummins 6.7L general questions

I would run 5w40, I don't see a downside. What advantage does the 10w30 have. When 5w40 is at the end of its interval it becomes......10w30

is there a basis in not trusting 'all in one' atf fluids?

I won't use any multi vehicle fluid that is formulated for cvt applications. I might try the import multi from Castrol, Mercon v approval is close enough to atf4/dex3 for what I'm doing.

Down the Gear Oil rabbit hole again: for Eaton Torsen “upgrade”

Dodge 11.5 AAM comes with a torsen from factory. Mopar calls for a synthetic fluid, from everything I have read.

My 90k mile ford looked identical using motorcraft 5w20 the last 40k miles. 7500mile intervals. Looks good to me.

HPL tranny fluid for ATF +4 applications

Atf4 is a quality spec as is. If you go on Randy's transmission for a 68rfe oil change, they sell a certified fluid to go in it.

    TES-668, a great Multi-ATF?

I agree on testing with large capacity setups, for sure. Its convenient that Tom is invested in a testing facility. In response to the thread title, a performance rebuilder on another forum is recommending this fluid in a lot of applications. Must be good.

    GMC Sierra 2500 HD L8T 6.6 gas - First UOA, PUP 5W-30, 4,500 miles

Within the oem guidelines, Im a fan of towing/working the engine early. The oil consumption might go down with more use.

is there any benefit of going 'thicker' if uoa already checks out?

Are you tempted to use the same oil in a 30w and do another uoa? It won't definitively prove anything, but it would be interesting.

    ATF +4 Hotshot?

I would find the best price on an appoved atf+4. Valvoline is 31$ a gallon and claim free shipping over 35$.

    Lubegard Synthetic PS vs ATF+4

What is the best anti wear additive in diesel motor oil?

I look for the ford spec, they like the phosphorus. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/ford-presentation-on-the-1-000-1-200-ppm-phosphorus-requirement-for-heavy-duty-diesel-engine-oils.360833/

    ATF 3x Drain & Fill

This is the best method when the fluid is junk or unknown. Letting it intentionally mix with ruined fluid is a waste.
