    Why relay placement is important

This was what I had to do to diagnose the fog lights not working. The wiring was a factory accessory kit that bolted to stock holes etc. The whole area where wire was got cleaned up, wire brushed and then when I was done covered with either Fluid Film or Blaster Surface shield. Battery and...

Pancake compressor for airing up tires?

The 88P clips to battery, not limited as bad to the plug in power port. Works great. Viair 88P To me - tractor tire at camp means may be away from an outlet but I presume tractor does have a battery. The clip on 88P will be able to use that, no other batteries to charge. For plug in small...

    Why relay placement is important

I have had my jug for a long time. I got it because the electricians I was helping did it for many connections especially outdoors. I also have copper anti-seize for other stuff. The Kopr-shield is a much thicker viscosity material and has a UL listing for electrical stuff. To me more correct...

    Why relay placement is important

I bought a set of like 10 of those either on eBay or Amazon that I use when doing lights. I will also put some di-electric/silicone grease on there where the female terminals are in case anything gets past the seals. The ground connection may go straight to battery and if not gets the paint...

Post a photo of your oil on dipstick (with miles)

'16 Renegade, 1960 miles on Delo 5W-40, factory Mopar filter. Harder to see top edge of oil, nothing added, about 1/4qt down. Lots of short tripping around town. Just about 10k miles on the replacement motor. It's on a 4k severe service schedule.

    Valvoline Restore & Protect 0W-20 Honda CR-V

OMG - you ventured over to the BITOG rabbit hole from CRV Owners Club and a filter cutter planned! Welcome ;) :D . Now we can abuse, I mean advise you in multiple places. Slow and steady clean up is good as long as it's running well. Do consider a filter swap at around 2k and if possible cut...

Post your latest oil purchase or even filter.

Picked this up yesterday before my SpeedPerks expired. Wanted to see the OEZ Honda by Premium Guard as listed in filters thread. Looks like stock Honda A02 to me. I'll use it on the Pilot next not to waste it. Oh and also the Valvoline text a picture of receipt for $5 back. :D

    OEZ Honda by Premium Guard?

I haven't had any A02's to compare this to. I'll need to check past C&P's tomorrow. Bypass is the flat plastic disc looking version. I can't see wasting it so will probably go on Pilot as first available Honda due for change in about 500 miles. Totally different then the center core and...

    TiGeo's new brew

I'm on nights for 19 years this round. Brew and lawnmower when I get home is not an issue. I'm in bed normally at 2pm so that is about correct time for one.

Looking to buy a hatchback in the $5K to $10K price range

1500 lbs, not KG at least here in USA. The older 6cyl Highlanders were able to do more but the 4 cyl were also like 1500 lbs.

Looking to buy a hatchback in the $5K to $10K price range

Read up on the posts here about @macarose and his 48 hours and a used car on Facebook. Many recommendations from here at BITOG. He may have something that you could go and try or options. I totally understand the wanting to see/touch/drive/inspect. With all the used car scams out there, I...

Machine shop Tools on a Battleship

I know it's off topic on the tools on the battleship so if mods want to move or delete. I can send so many scout pictures from all the times. PM if you want to see some for ideas as they grow. All the Pinewood derbies, I bought a small band saw and drill press off Craigslist so I could teach...

Looking to buy a hatchback in the $5K to $10K price range

I think a big thing to look at is also the tow ratings at least on line search. The loading of trailer may also play a large role. Last summer I hauled two 55 gallon drums of diesel in an open top trailer with my daughters '08 CRV. I had them toward the front and the tongue weight made it sag...

Machine shop Tools on a Battleship

Thank you. You will do great also. Here’s how I looked at it and also when they had me “recruiting” for a bit and I would share with parents of new cubs. Life is busy, there is always stuff that has to be done at home and everywhere else. It will be there later. Going to cub scouts and help...
