So what's the "go-to" PEA based fuel additive? Indirect and direct injection engines...

These are polymers, so there are infinite variations possible. What is optimal only those manufacturing/researching in the field would know.

    Riding vs Zero Turn mower

Had to look up Ventrac, that's some serious stuff. But in general I think a zero turn will slide around a little more than a rider, but will be way more maneuverable. IE: the wheels will be slipping, but you can control yourself sufficiently to feel safe and get the job done. A rider has more...

What is a reasonably long OCI for this diesel?

This is interesting. My former 2013 Dodge Cummins 6.7L recommended 15,000. So, what changed in 2013?

    Quaker State Ultimate Protection 5W-30

Valvoline has higher Moly, which is interesting. But it is priced higher typically... So, if price was equal I would personally choose Valvoline EP. But since its not I have been going with QS.

So what's the "go-to" PEA based fuel additive? Indirect and direct injection engines...

PEA is not a single molecule where everybody is making the same thing and the application is relevant to gas additives. So, a great deal of caution needs to be employed with what you're suggesting.

What is good PEA based cleaner for 2023.

Deep Clean Fuel system cleaner lists 10-30%PEA. Complete Engine treatment lists 0.5-5% Hydrocarbyl amine So, i would only consider the deep clean if its PEA you're after.

    Iridium Plugs and Gas Mileage

I mean fuel economy on day 1 vs day 1 is not the question right? At 50-90k miles what's the difference in double platinum vs. iridium? NGK says the following: So, not much difference?

Using synthetic oil in Kawasaki FR651V....

Why not just use Kawasaki Oil K-Tech 20W-50? Kawasaki's 15W-50 is synthetic...so I don't think there is a problem with synthetic per se. https://www.kawasakienginesusa.com/engine/accessories/kawasaki-4-cycle-engine-oil.html

"U.S. and European refiners are scrambling to get enough octane to make high-quality gasoline." -Autoblog

I am skeptical of the product. But they have some videos where they are mixing dry additives. One is red and may be ferrocene. Back on topic ultra low sulfur gasoline requires processing which then makes it difficult to maintain aromatics. Some refineries are better suited than others to...

    “Testing oil filters”

The 30micron size of the aluminum particles would be on the order of coarse test dust. Typically medium test dust would be used for oil filters which has a median particle size ~20micron. Then I question the pump used. Why are we getting the same flow at the same pump speed in part 2, but...

Best shop lighting ideas for 40x100 pole building

I would think the simplest fixture that is made for an LED tube. I like to be able to replace the bulb/tube. Cannot stand the notion of having to replace an entire fixture even if it technically should be 10-15years.

    TX Termite Treatments

I don't know the laws in TX. The initial treatment lasts like 10 years. But should be monitored yearly with a termite bond. For example these are popular ones. And it claims: Termidor SC, Navigator SC and Taurus SC are long-lasting. Government and other tests in the US and abroad have shown...

The fuel system cleaner will take care of the injectors as well. The fuel injector cleaner will have no effect on the rest of the fuel system.

    Techron Question

I feel we've had the same discussion/disagreement on other posts. For reference I have written them as well, fairly recently. You can use 'trade secret' and 'proprietary' on anything you don't want to disclose yes. And in general, yes, an SDS is not the ideal place to get composition...

    Techron Question

Ok, I guess what I'm saying is it is relevant that the ingredient is on one SDS but not the other. I'm not really sure what you're point is otherwise?

    Techron Question

It is relevant. The proprietary ingredient is PEA, which Chevron had some of the earliest patents on. This would only be in the complete fuel system cleaner. Fuel Injector cleaners typically don't have PEA or very low concentrations. The mechanism for keeping injectors clean is very different...
