No ship fires so far have been directly blamed on EVs

I've seen so much of this. For whatever reason, mine went down. First time in many years. I'm sure they'll more than correct that next time.

New Jersey tells Tesla: remove super chargers from NJ Turnpike

To cut them from the property when they're both installed on the same property is just nuts. I'm not saying Tesla should have the only chargers, but the exact opposite of what you are saying is what is happening. Tesla is being forced to close their chargers while another single company gets...

article: Previous owner retains control over Tesla

This is an easy solution. Why someone wouldn't remove a sold car from their profile is beyond me. Not only that if the new owner submitted ownership info to Tesla, the previous owner would have been kicked off access to the car.

No ship fires so far have been directly blamed on EVs

Cars keep getting more expensive and insurance rates just suck right now. I don't blame you on that one.

New Jersey tells Tesla: remove super chargers from NJ Turnpike

Mine is $260 in Wisconsin now. I just got my renewal in the mail.

New Jersey tells Tesla: remove super chargers from NJ Turnpike

This is just wrong. A private company that maintains their chargers is being removed for a government contract. Disgusting. Other cars can charge at Superchargers. I see Fords, Chevrolets, Rivians, and Cadillacs at them all the time. Some older Superchargers might need updated to support...

Musk Says Tesla ‘Dug Our Own Grave’ With The Cybertruck

Most won't. There's a few crazies out there though.

Musk Says Tesla ‘Dug Our Own Grave’ With The Cybertruck

Not trying to make this political, but it seems Musk's newest tactics have gotten a reaction from previous supporters. I had nasty words said to me in traffic while driving home today. My wife on the other hand had this happen caught on Sentry this morning. Just so childish. The politics get...

Top electric vehicle registrations in Europe by company, April 2025

That’s been my point. It’s great in some places. I’ve used it when it has been amazing. None of those places are remotely close to where I live. I’ve not had a good experience around my own area. It lacks quite a bit of refinement in inputs that feels jerky to me too. I think a lot of that...

GM to Start Making LFP Cells in USA

I haven’t noticed it be worse in cold, but then again my LFP car is 600lbs lighter and less than half the power. I’m sure that’s by a certain percentage and would take real testing to see the number.

Top electric vehicle registrations in Europe by company, April 2025

I’m just surprised for how mad some get with me for just pointing it out. I’m not even making a statement about the person. It’s just known that it will get a reaction.

GM to Start Making LFP Cells in USA

They might be going in the bigger trucks. Either the range will go down or the trucks will get heavier. LFP just isn’t as energy dense as NMC.

GM to Start Making LFP Cells in USA

I think the big thing here is more US production and materials on a very resilient battery design. It won't power the fastest or the longest range vehicles due to power density, but it's a real solution for entry level EVs. These batteries have a lot higher tolerance against degradation...

Top electric vehicle registrations in Europe by company, April 2025

Waymo has a lot more sensors and they also have a control center that monitors the cars. If something goes wrong, then they can take remote control of the vehicle. FSD’s goal is to be completely standalone. What you’re describing with your Equinox is basically what standard Autopilot does...

Top electric vehicle registrations in Europe by company, April 2025

I don’t think FSD will be the thing to save Tesla. What I’ve found in online conversations, particularly Facebook is that the biggest proponents of FSD saving Tesla have never owned a Tesla, have no intention of owning a Tesla, and have only ridden in an FSD driven Tesla a couple of times...

Chinese EV Thoughts? Curious on more technical info

I doubt it'll close either. No different than any other company researching and building in other countries. Ever major company does it. It is what it is. It's still doing research in China.

Chinese EV Thoughts? Curious on more technical info

It's a powerhouse of innovation in China now. All our major companies sold their development to China to reduce costs and now we've lost control of it. Nothing like outsourcing!

Chinese EV Thoughts? Curious on more technical info

I'll buy from US companies personally. In some cases when they don't make what I want I'll go with German or Japanese options. I don't care if China makes the greatest car in the world. Why wouldn't I support my own country or allies?

Lucid Air Gravity- Closing Gap W/ Ice

Right, that’s what I meant. Trucks includes SUVs. Almost always does in the automotive world. My registration for my Y says truck on it. Anything that falls under a traditional car is capped at $55k. Cars like Lucid or even the Model S are too expensive to qualify.
