usually what works for me.. waxing the wheels, yup same as the car wax for your paint. then I can just get a wet rag and wipe the brake dust off. no sticking when it's waxed.

ya I've had that happen before, really tough to remove those caps. and your retesting of the battery, still good, between 3.91 and 4.01Mohms.. I've seen the BA101 tester that I have vary about that much between testing. Still a great battery! be interesting to see how the plus series goes...

EDIT.. My previous post I meant a a/c compressor, aftermarket from Denso.. Went through two of them. First one only lasted a few years.. Replacing it the 2nd brand new one was bad after a week or so. sad but thought you'd like to know. This was Denso's copy of the orginal Sanden compressor.

looking good Joe! (y)Thanks for the update.. I had a brand new aftermarket Denso in the civic, it wasn't compressing enough and I had to return it. Got a reman Honda (yeah was about $300) but it worked fine after that. But.. I agree, try the used part, might be ok! oh and Happy Easter...

This is odd.. how does a "fell off the back of a truck" ebay seller get these if Oreilly has their own shipper? as @dogememe indicated I bet Oreilly would like to know if someone (their freight company) is selling stock, or selling returns/defectives? I'm gonna get the popcorn! 🍿

Thanks for the reply.. I had been doing some extra research lately and I just couldn't believe Oreilly was still using WIX after dropping them for the oreilly branded oil filters. Premium Guard, that would make sense on how good the quality of the cabin air filter has been, unlike what WIX...

I would like to add that it's not fair to judge a brand's quality by what Rockauto has in their warehouses or how they handle the parts.. I do agree that overall aftermarket quality has been going down a lot lately. There are some good brands out there, but it's getting thinner every day...

Since I see you're new here and I bet you haven't searched all the posts over the years.. So I'll catch you up on some of it.. Lots of reports of bad parts from Rockauto. Damaged/beatup/defective, etc.. It got so bad for me personally that I gave up 100% on using them at all a couple years...

hey thanks for the heads up! I'm liking how these tests are being reported, nice to put data (numbers) to what was always a guess. Actually I knew tests like these could be done in engineering but never had the $$$ to do them myself! :)

I think I found it.. was posted 2 days ago under the "Brand Ranks" id name.. here's a link.. Video of oem vs aftermarket it was interesting how they evaluated not only how much dirt an oem (Nissan in this case) could hold, and the efficiency of the particles it stopped, Denso was better.. But...
