My sister and BIL have had a bunch of Range Rovers, and Land Rovers. The only really problematic one has been the current model Defender. They have so many cars, that the fact it's often at the Dealer, isn't a big concern. My BIL has a car obsession. It will be gone soon anyway, to be replaced...

Changed the trans oil in the dirtbikes. Cleaned their air filters. Cleaned and lubed the chains, and then did wheelies up and down the street. Both running great.

It's not that Black Bear Pass is difficult, it's just that the consequences of not getting it right can be very high. A stock 4wd '92 Cherokee in good condition, and well maintained, particularly the brakes, should be okay if the driver is experienced in driving 4wd trails. It is a one-way only...
