This situation is common in the SW - an occupied house sitting on a dirt lot with no landscaping, defined driveway or walkways. Not just new construction either. Those lights shining right in your eyes as you approach are going to make it harder to see the steps at night not easier.
Or take off the gutter to the left and attach directly to the fascia and have it run flat to the right. Have the high gutter slope to the right downspout. 18' might be too much span. Don't know your location and possible snow load but it looks like moss/algae on the deck and railing so maybe...
Something like this could probably be used. Attach above the 2 big windows. Some have no slope. You'd have to be a bit creative where the downspout is but should be doable.

Use tax is the fairest. Any flat yearly fee penalizes low mile drivers, ICE or EV. One would think there would be a way to log and report miles driven only but not track the vehicle.
