    Healthy Granola Bar Recommendations

Not sure if they're healthy but I like Kodiak Cakes. Especially the chewy peanut butter chocolate chip.

    New tool thread

After many years of having my hand tool kit in a zip top Cornwell bag, I got sick of the bag and got one of those open top Hercules box/bags from HF. While transferring the tools from one to the other, I realized I have five Snap on Philips head screwdrivers and no flats. Can't even imagine...

I Hang On To My Tools.

I was switching my hand tool kit from a Cornwell bag to one of those Hercules open top boxes and realized I lost my Snap On 10mm chrome, long combination wrench. Spent about 40 minutes looking for it and then went online and bought one. Not happy.

It really wasn’t bad at all. Maybe took me an hour and a half. I hate that when lights get water in em.

New to me 2021 Chevy Traverse

This was kinda funny. We had the car about a month and were planning on taking it on a trip. I looked under the cover in the bumper and there was no receiver for my bicycle rack. I ordered one and installed it. My wife comes out and sees me with the whole bumper cover off the car and freaks...

I Hang On To My Tools.

My dad and I started giving my son tools as gifts when he started showing interest. He uses his own stuff and then if he needs something, he asks me if he can borrow it and even cleans and returns it. I feel very fortunate.

I Hang On To My Tools.

I still have the very first Snap On tool I ever purchased. One of those little spring loaded pocket screw starters. I also have a Snap On torque wrench that I bought when I was 18 or 19 that still has a reversible head on it even though it only torques in one direction. The new ones are one...

New to me 2021 Chevy Traverse

My parents had those godawful 1980 Toronado diesels when I was a kid. Beautiful cars but after they became a couple of years old, they became nightmares. My dad unloaded his quickly. My mom, who would keep a car for years, held on to hers til 1991. It finally got stolen. I was so happy...

I like ours. I like my Suburban better. Believe it or not, the Traverse has more legroom than my Suburban.

warranty calls for tool destruction !

Back in 2009 I cracked a mountain bike frame. Specialized wanted it destroyed before sending me a new one. I asked the bike shop if it was enough that I wanted it to be wall art but they said the Manufacturer had to be sure no one would try and ride it. They said it was a heat treat issue...

I don't even lift ours up to change the oil. I place the pan under the oil pan and remove the plug right on the ground. I change the filter from the top. Couldn't be easier. My 09 Suburban on the other hand is much more prone to making a mess.

New to me 2021 Chevy Traverse

We just got back from a road trip in the Traverse, NY to Florida and back. My wife complains that it gets terrible mileage. After a few trips with her I've seen what the problem is. She hammers the gas, romps on the brake, hammers back on the gas. I can't sleep when she drives. When I...

Hey, let me know how you end up disabling the stop/start. Even though I hardly drive it, I hate it.

50,000 miles on my Detroit 4-53T swap.:) Here's the update.:)

That's so cool. I keep thinking about swapping a 4BT into my son's Ram or even my Suburban.

New to me 2021 Chevy Traverse

My wife wanted a Telluride in 2021 but there was no way I was paying mega dollars over sticker for one. We made a deal on a 21 Traverse and have been very happy with it. I THINK it's an LT. I never look. Oil changes are SIMPLE. One issue that drove me a little crazy was the headlights...

We spent 160 plus gas. We didn’t have to ride any pony.

    My roadside food pictures.

We came across a place on the trip home called Buc-ee's. Never seen one before. Had to be sixty gas pumps outside. When we walked in, we were slack jawed. Place was like 75,000 sq ft. The food was insane. Had to be fifty different varieties of beef jerky. The coffee was great, we bought...
