Are you sure it's a AGM vs SLA? I will bet SLA.
I have not done any real research but I have an SLA for small generator and it was not obvious how to set my normal car/truck battery tester so I could test the battery.
A decent AGM battery should be able to make it through the off season...
The radiator is an almost closed system. It should not be loosing any coolant.
You may never see a pinhole leak in radiator.
Fill to COLD (making sure all air is gone) then check it weekly when the engine is gold to make sure the level stays on COLD.
I think the factory thermostat is the proper one to use. If you have a cooking system problem then it needs to be fixed. Changing the thermostat to a different temp thermostat is not the solution.
It's important to cut open several new filters of each type to check for quality control between each filter. So I would say you buy 10 of each filter type, cut open 9 to verify their quality control and if the nine all are of high quality then you are good to go using the 10th.
Here is a picture of the seal. Any damage you see may be from me removing it.
Don't understand the rusty look. Nothing should be rusting in that area.
It has a tiny coiled spring ring holding the inner part of the seal against the shaft. It feels old and a little hard rubber.
I get stuff out of my truck during the day for varying reasons so I keep it open during the day.
For me walking the dog, locking the house and locking my truck just before I go to bed makes sense. Usually between 10 and 11 PM

The board responded the complaint was "non actionable".
While I expected the...
I live in constant fear they will deport my mother in-law who lives at 1837 3rd Street, Los Angeles, Calif 90037, blue house, she gets off work at 6PM.
I was always afraid overnight humid air would get in thru the open drain hole and rust something. I am a "when it turns from a stream to a drip drip drip then I done" guy.
And when over 70 you might get into the car, start engine, back up, see the oil drain pan and wonder who left that there.
