    Windows and multiple displays

So this seems to still an issue. But the related problem is each time things are powered up which display is display 1 vs 2 vs 3 and whether it's duplicate or extend. Is there a way to save the settings or is it the way things are powered up?

    Alternator choices

Don't the rebuild shops turn the alternator rotor on a lathe? How is a shade tree mechanic suppose to do that? They also use an oscilloscope to check the output of the alternator to determine if a diode in the bridge is bad. If one diode is bad they usually replace the diode bridge.

    JD LA110 Resurection

I think you are counting too much on the gas additives to clean things. You may need to take the carb off and clean it in an ultrasonic cleaner. I would check any gas containers they have hanging around. Grass got in the tank through some way.

Why didn't you pump or drain out the old gas first? Charge the battery? But battery is probably toast.

Boat engine - another rusty pulley

When I have time, the PS pulley is next. I wonder why some pulleys on the engine rust and some don't. The idler and alternator and raw water pump pulley are not rusting but PS pulley and circulating pump pulleys are rusting.

    Control arms, OEM vs aftermarket

Have you tried to find OEM online? For Ford at least there are several dealers across the county that sell parts online at a discount. I suspect other vehicle brands have similar.
