    Mobil1 3 pack, 5 quart at Walmart

Wait, if two OCI equals 30 quarts for that vehicle, how old is the bus driver?

    Honda civic 1.5 Turbo

Great question. Never been asked here before. I'm curious to know the answer too. We can call it "Thick vs Thin!"

Eco guard Air Filter Quality ?

I used a few in cars I have serviced over the years. They seemed fine to me. Pretty much like OEM in the applications I have used.

Tree Trim - looking for opinions

Okay. Trimmed up the three bottom branches. Those things were much heavier than I thought they would be! I cut them leaving the collar like the picture someone posted earlier in thread. Looks “closer” in pictures than it actually is.

Valvoline Restore and Protect: 2017 Santa Fe 2.0 T Sport Ultimate

He does do highway driving. I can have him try that. He also does uber eats. I think that (lots of idling) is part of it.

Brake Fluid - Biggest Neglect, Biggest Benefit

Honestly, never done it. I have bled brakes when needed after a brake job or something (if needed.) I know all the oil change places try and do it to every car that comes in. Easy money. Is it necessary? Haven't ever had a problem. I have sucked out some of the fluid in the reservoir and...

Need to change power window regulator

I just did one a couple weeks ago. The cable broke. No real way to fix that that I could see. No rebuild kis or anything. Could not find an aftermarket for a 2019 Santa Fe. Only OEM (like $600.....) I found one at a Florida junkyard. Paid $150. Showed up looking brand new. They even...

Valvoline Restore and Protect: 2017 Santa Fe 2.0 T Sport Ultimate

My sons 2019 Santa Fe with the 2.4L Theta II engine hasn't responded at all to the R&P. He's on the 4th OCI. I think it's just the Hyundai low tension rings. Not much can really be done. Maybe a piston soak will help. He's not burning that much oil. Maybe 3/4 of a quart in a 4K OCI...

    2018 Mazda 3 Trans Service

    Post your latest oil change

Probably the last part. Some folks have had great success with R&P.

    Post your latest oil change

Nope.....still burns 1/2-3/4 quart in 4K. That's just Hyundai though probably.

Wear indicators on front pads 2019 Santa Fe

Pulled his front wheels this morning. Pads were just about to kiss the wear indicators. So, it was time. If the guy said they’re about to hit the wear indicators, that would have been fine. He said there was only 1mm of pad left, which wasn’t true…… In either case, it was time to change...

    Post your latest oil change

Sons 2019 Santa Fe, with 69,400 miles. 4K OCI. Out: Valvoline R&P 5W-30, OEM filter. In: Same oil and filter. This is the 4th oil change with the R&P. I also did his front brakes. They were just now tickling the wear indicators. Pad slap after a runout of rotors. Bosch Blue pads.

Determining the Proper Oil for Your Engine - Email from Lake Speed Jr

This lickity split 10 speed guy sure knows how to stir up this board! My favorite part of these threads are those in here that think 10 speed is more of an expert at analysis then @dnewton3 Hilarious stuff! Massive amounts of ignorance here.

Rant: Accident right after replacing parts

I'm happy your wife is okay. Most important thing by far. In my old GMC Sierra, I replaced the water pump, starter, fan assembly, flush and fill the coolant, new thermostat and hoses. It was an all day job. Truck running like a champ with 328K on it. 10 day later, transmission...
