2005 Wrangler with 4 speed automatic

My question was. Can I use Valvoline Maxlife in place of ATF +4? I saw the old thread I listed above but it was locked and I saw that article with very strange conflicting info and didn't know if anything had changed. Looks like I ASSumed that the full synthetic would be better than ATF+4...

Just got a 2020 KTM 300 XC-W TPI Transfer Port Injection. The manual says to use JASO FD synthetic reputable oil and recommend Motorex - Cross Power 2T which is about $18/quart. Is there options for a NON-premix 2T synthetic oil that is JASO FD rated that isn't $18/quart that people recommend?

I have four 1983 Mercedes Benz 240D's. I just got the 4th one last week and is the best addition by far with only 65,000 miles. My question is if people here think that Mobil 1 TDT oil is the best oil to be using for these older diesels? I have one that I bought 2 years ago with 185,000...
