I've alway had Cummins and alway run Rotella T 15W40. Change it every 4-5K miles with a fleetguard filter. If you do this your Cummins engine should be good for 1,000,000 miles before a overhaul is needed. Now thats bang for the buck. Plus I love the smell of Rotella T for the first 500 miles...
