House broken into- way to track stolen goods?

flea market / garage sale listings advertising XBox. Also, could place a Craigslist add "Want to Buy XBox with accessories and games". Sift through the replies and see if any are strangely similar.

House broken into- way to track stolen goods?

Was the change jar obviously a change jar out in the open? If it was concealed, in a closet, or in a jar that didn't scream "money", then I would say it is someone you know (or kids friends if you have kids).

Lucas + SAE 30 ND = Bar and Chain Oil

Thanks for sharing. Suitable substitutes are always a good thing to know. Though never tried yet, I have read about using canola oil. Supposedly used in environmentally sensitive areas such as cutting in wetlands.

    Thoughts on Stihl 4-Mix engines.

I've owned a KM-90R for a few years. Takes a bit getting used to the power vs sound. Great low end power. I love that I do not have to keep it screaming to cut. I'm not even sure if it revs above 10k where 2 stroke are 13k or so. Definitely use the Stihl oil for the mixed fuel to stay ahead of...

    DGI engines are very dirty!

After reading, my guess would be TUEV is tied to the filter manufacturer (sell millions of filters at 50 Euro). One comment notes ties to the rail industry. All that aside, this is interesting if there is any validity to the study. Is there a control car in that study for comparison that i...

    Maxlife ATF for VW?

I'd be inclined to stick with VW fluid, but I've also read elsewhere that Merc V has been used with success though I have never tried it.

    Expensive Vs Cheap Oil

Over the last couple of years I've stocked up on free or nearly free oil so free it is. Also a while back purolator ran some sweet deals, so I grabbed a bunch. Running out of filters though. Need a good sale to come along. I used to use ST synthetic, but drop in name brand, especially with...

PPPP 10w30, what's not to like here?

Thanks. I've seen that before and Shell did not include HTHS on that PDS. Also no ACEA for guidance either. Wondering if the low NOACK implies a slightly higher HTHS than the 3.1-3.2 that past 10w-30 oils were typically rated.

    300 mpg vw

    Flat repair

I work construction so flats are a way of life. I have the harbor freight version and a 12v lighter plug in mini air compressor. As long as the repairs were within the tread, they have lasted without fail. I've even been able to plug a sidewall long enough to limp to get a new tire. I would not...

SuperTech Full Synthetic Vs. Pennzoil Ultra

ST is obviously better. Its cheaper. Unless Ultra can be scored on the cheap, then I change my mind.

Pennzoil PurePlus synthetics, NOACK = quality?

Only if Noack is the single determining factor of quality. Valvoline consistently has shown to be very effective via UOAs yet is scoffed at by many for a weak adpack and noack near the upper limits of the current specification limits.
