    Minimum OCI for Honda

My wife's 2011 Accord SE used to see runs of Castrol Edge Gold Bottle 0w20, changed when the MM was at 10% or less. She totaled it at about 65,000mi, but that car never used a bit of oil and ran perfectly. If you're running a quality synthetic like M1, I see no reason not to take advantage of...

    2015 5.3L ECOTEC3 - Oil Suggestions

Get yourself a catch can, run whatever name brand synthetic 0w20 you prefer, change when the OLM indicates, and drive the wheels off of that truck. My brother bought a new Silverado last spring, and has been using PP in his. He said it's surprising how much gunk the catch can traps before it...

Oil for an 01 Trans AM

With all of your short trips, I'd run M1 0w30 AFE, a quality filer, and change the oil when the OLM told you. Those are nice cars. I wish I would have bought one years ago...

    TGMO 0w-20 or PYB 5w-20?

In your application, PYB without a second thought. No reason to pay for a synthetic oil and dump it at 5k in your application.

    2014 Silverado 5.3 Recommendation

My brother has a 14 Silverado 5.3, and has been running 0w20 PP and changing at OLM intervals. He has also installed a catch can. If you havnt, you should google it to see what I'm talking about, and then install one as well.

    2014 Toyota Tacoma Extended Drains

I'd run the M1 5w30 EP after the warranty is up. Prior to that, get your free changes at the dealer, then run Mobil Super 5w30 for the rest of the warranty. After warranty, go with M1...

    HIgh mileage 5.3 oil?

You could go for the best of both worlds, and run Valvoline MaxLife Full synthetic 5w-30, or M1 5-30 HM.

Which Oil For : 1995 Jeep Cherokee I-6 Cylinder?

My first thought for your application was 10w30 MaxLife. It would protect that engine well, and may also help with the rear main leak issue. I'd also consider 5w30 Maxlife if you're in Northern GA- due to winters- or if you do a lot of short trips. You could also always switch to MaxLife full...

    04 hemi

That oil should help. Hemi is a great motor, no surprise it's still running. I'd probably use M1 HM or Maxlife full synthetic next time with a good filter since he's prone to long oci's. Those oils should help with clean-up and reducing consumption. I also agree with changing the current filter...

MaxLife full synthetic for 7500 would be great for your application. I wouldn't think twice about it.

Oil consumption with M1 AFE 0w30?

I've also had some consumption when changing brands. Seems to stop after awhile though. I'd bet that if you stayed with M1, the consumption would go away and your sump would stay full.

oil for my '15 6.7 Powerstroke

My dad ran 10w30 T5 in his 2012 6.7 for the first few changes, but has been using Mobil Delvac 15w40 since. He's convinced that the 40wt is smoother and quieter, with no measurable difference in fuel economy. They are all approved in the manual, and the Delvac is cheaper while still being a...

    2010 Chrysler Town & Country

Looking at a clean Town and Country with almost 53k miles. Has the 3.8 V6. Vehicle seems clean and well maintained as far as I can tell, but it's at a dealer and there isn't any service history available. Is the 3.8 a good engine? Anything I should know about these? Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
