215/55 tires only need a 6.5" rim. 8" rims are too wide and aren't a recommended size. A 7.5" rim is ideal for a 245/50 tire.

A 215/60R16 tire has a 6.0% bigger outside diameter than a 205/60R15 tire. I guess the gearing of the SE Camry and the LE Camry takes this into account. You wouldn't want to interchange these two tires as the difference is too great!

It won't have the same visual impact as going up 20mm in a smaller size. For example going from a 165 to a 185 tyre width.
