Hi, I am totally new to the whole car waxing thing. When I go to detailing shops I see them mix wax and compaund on a washed car and then they use a machine to wax it. Now, I know you can get those $40 waz "vibrators/waxers/machines" but what do pro wax places use and where can I buy it? I...

I used (And use) GC 0-30 in my Accord and the car runs smoother. I notice no power hit nor the economy hit. Great Oil.

What happens to old oil? (The one lube places take out of your car for example?) Is it recycled into new oil or?

If years from now cars routinely reach 250+k on 5-20 oils I will change my license plate to 5W-20. However, for now I will stay with 10W-40 or 0-30 because I have good reason (past experience) to know it will get 250-300k out of my car. As a matter of fact I am more worried abut my Honda Auto...

[/QB] Hi Accord, would you mind sharing your actual wear data proving that 5W-20 is worse? Obviously the many mechanics and family members must have lots of data proving it, right? Or is it just more conjecture based on "gut feeling"? I do 5k OCIs on my CR-V, and it uses zero oil after 31,000...

Hi, How good is the new synth Mobil1 0W-40. I read somewhere that it is very good oil that satisfies many stringent requirements. Any info?
