Any one have info on a .357 rifle?

Am I the only one that thinks an M1 Carbine-style rifle chambered in .357 magnum would be fun, a reasonable self defense rifle, and a sweet deer rifle? The old Ruger .44 semi-auto needs to come back into production, too.

    2017 CRV

We have been building these where I work. Trust me, the vehicle has much more power in the low end and it's very fun to drive. The interiors are absolutely sweet. Also, don't discount the appearance until you see one in person. It is very well-proportioned and much more aggressive than the ones...

    Beretta 92S LEO trade-ins

Jeez. I've ran into a few guys that have 5 times that or more through their factory STI barrels. Those are some used guns!

    147gr ammo recoil attribution

Let's clear the air. Before I start, let me give you full disclosure. I am a mechanical engineer and work at a major automotive manufacturer (Honda). This means I have a firm grasp on physics. I also shoot. A lot. I also handload and have shot the 9mm. A lot. I've also worked on handguns and...

    Drying Some .223 / 5.56 MM Brass

I pick up a LOT of .223/5.56 and 9x19 after 3GN matches. For the .223, I tumble it once without pins to clean them up and dry them in a food dehydrator (much more efficient than the oven and is not weather dependent). I then decap them all and run them through the tumbler again with the...

    Decent AR-15 Collapsible Stock?

I've always liked Daniel Defense's newer stock, but I try to eschew anything rubber on my guns. I hate it. Magpul is my typical go-to, and I just get the basic carbine stock or the one with the lock on it. I don't need anything fancy for three gun competition. My newest favorite is what came...

    slide glide?

I prefer SuperLube synthetic grease. I bought the 1lb tub on Amazon and load it into plastic syringes. It works great for all of my guns, especially the ARs. It has no smell and is clear, so you can easily tell when it is time to wipe it off and reapply it.

Talk to me about a...umm...errr...Glock 19

I started, and still am, a SIG P-Series and 1911 guy. They fit the hand well, are easy to control, and easy on the eyes. They shoot well and experienced shooters can run them like mad. I started shooting IDPA a year ago this month and have been working to shoot as fast as I accurately can. I...

Ruger LC9 S Fails to Eject

There's one easy way to figure out if you're "limp-wristing" the handgun (I call it insufficient grip to mediate hurt feelings at the range lol). Shoot the pistol one-handed with a deliberately-weaker grip. If it malfunctions more frequently, then you'll know that the combination of lower-energy...

what to run in the i6 4.0

I've ran a lot of different oils in the old 4.0... Favorite so far has been Pennzoil Platinum and Yellow Bottle 5W-30 grade. Low wear numbers with both and they don't drop your fuel economy like the heavier XW-40 oils do.
