I have Red Line in my 2019 miata, but it’s MT-90 in the transmission. Got PUP 0w20 in now. If you change it every 6 months like I do cost of the oil is a factor to me.

My second Miata… The first one a 2008, I used any flavor oil filter. This 2019 Miata Is a Skyactiv. I have stayed with OEM oil filters.

The crankcase and intake vacuum are two different things. You have the oil change and filter change as variables with the filter being aftermarket.

OK but to check if the oil is used up the detergent/dispersant package, get a TBN done on your oil at your OCI. P.S. Blackstone is not the lab to do a TBN. Some like Polaris just calls it Base.
