I was trying out a new 4amp tender/maintainer on a new battery and afterwards noticed a damp/greasy film around the vent caps. Normal I'm hoping? If so I might have a bad tender...

My problem is a little more involved when I face that costco is 100 miles away - but we go there about twice a month (the city - St Louis Mo), Walmart is 3 miles away and Sams Club is either 23 miles or 41 miles. I'm really trying to lean towards the Duracell (6/20) at Sams Club.

Time later today for an oil change on my 2014 F-150 with 3.5 Ecoboost. It will turn over 20k soemtime later today. As you can tell it isn't driven a lot - usually within about 10 miles from home. Because of that the Ford OLM counts down pretty quickly with the percentage of life left...

Like with so many things nowadays - everything has to be so complex and confusing.
