Why not use Seafoam in this case? The Seafoam Deep Creep is an aerosol spray can, and would serve your needs nicely. It seems to emulsify the carbon better than water in most cases.

What kind of car is it? That light shouldn't be telling you to change your oil, its probably telling you that you're low on oil, or have low oil pressure.

Aaron, How about a before and after shot and test of Molakule's "Molasoak" combusion chamber procedure, using LubeControl or a similar thing? That way we can see how the combusion chambers clean up with the Molasoak procedure.

You'd likely have no benefit over doing a clean/rinse cycle or two and then doing a maintenance dose. An engine can only get so clean.
