No, Fleetguard with Stratapore was my top choice because I couldn’t find a Donaldson “blue“ synthetic media that fit at first. Fleetguard and Donaldson filters are 1A and 1B in my mind and can’t go wrong with either really. What filter does Cummins recommend for your 8.3?

I had planned to order the Fleetguard LF3970 filter cummins recommends until OVERKILL was kind enough to suggest that Donaldson P551019 filter. Fleetguard LF3970: 98.7% at 30 micron Donaldson P551019: 99% at 15 micron Seems like Donaldson is the way to go.

OH wow thank you! I have been thinking that ONLY the Donaldson "DBL" dark blue looking filters had the synthetic "Synteq" media. 99% @ 15 microns is gonna be hard to beat haha
