DuraGloss 105 where have you been all my life?

Try the 501 cleaner/polish (Marine version) prior to the 105. The 501 is an incredible cleaner, and even on it's own it holds up very well. Top it with the 105, and you've got a LOT of protection, and nice looks.

Using 5W-30 in a new Honda

From what I've read in these forums, a good 5W-20 oil will hold up quite well. Why not stick with the recommendation... at least during the warranty period. I guess if I lived in an extreme heat situation, I might consider a 5W-30.

    Which interior protectant to buy?

Locally, 303 Protectant or Mothers Protectant would be my choice. Personally, I use Detailers Pride Interior Protectant.

    MOTHERS Carnuba Cleaner Wax

It's a very good cleaner wax. Top it with Mothers California Gold Carnauba for extra "POP" and protection.

    Mothers

I have a number of Mothers products... all are very good! I particularly like the Reflections Line. Power Polish is also excellent. Pre Wax Cleaner works great, and can be used as a nice finishing polish.

    Synwax, any good?

I agree. Synwax is good stuff. Easy on, easy off, with a nice shine. However, I actually prefer Reflections... depending on the color. Now that I've tried NXT 2.0, I prefer it to both the Mothers products, as far as looks and durability. Come spring, I'm going to prep the paint well, apply NXT...

    Any one tried meguiar's nxt 2.0 ?

I've tried the new NXT 2.0 on my sons vehicle. I like it much better than the original. Easier to apply and remove, nicer shine, and seems to be holding up nicely. Although, it's only been 3 weeks since we applied two light coats. The Meguiar's UQD (Ultimate Quick Detailer) works extremely well...

    Magnet on Filter

Somewhere, I've seen "curved" magnets made for specific size filters. I'll look around and see if I can find the info. I've always thought they were a gimmick. Anybody think they are worth it?

    Tire recommendations - 265/65R 17

Thanks. I'll check out Nokian's website, and stop by one of Jack Williams stores (there are 3 close to me) for a closer look. Those tires sure have an aggressive tread pattern. I'm surprised that they are quiet. Seems like a lot of folks like those Cooper tires too. I'll do some research...
