I also own a S2K and I found 0W-30 german castrol works well all year long, so dont get stuck on only 10W-30. But do consider the best oil for your 9K rpm reving car. Amsoil ATM 10W-30 may be the best bet, that what a lot of the S2Ker's run And you could do 10K mile OCI's too. Honda has changed...

Or you could just put that tape over your eyes and ignore all the excellent test results, and customer satifaction that we get with amsoil..

I have a hand pump, its a tube with a piton inside with a handel on the end of the rod and a hole on the end to suck in, or to push out fluid. I used it to refill trannys and diffs. so what is it called , and where can I get another one? Thanks

If thats a honda S-2000 your talking about. I ran GC in mine [7.5k oci] all summer and loved it, seem to run a little more smooth and less noisy. I may run it again this summer.

IIRC this was done to modified and race engines, to clear the sparkplugs of fouling and to blow out excess fuel. my nieghbor, who ran a short track car would do this also

why is it when amsoil showes a better test result than someones favroite oil, they say "well that doesent mean anything" then what standards do we judge oil by?

Amsoil ATM 10w-30 beats everthing in most every test.

Why not? im running GC gold in my 02'and very happy with it. go for it.
