I noticed the spec for M1 HM oil still specs under SL rather than the newer SN rating. Not sure if this makes a difference. The Valvoline site is down for maintenance but I saw reference to it's HM oil rated SN.

hmmm, thanks for the input everyone. I didn't know Penz had a newer oil than their platinum product. It does seem like Penz is putting a lot of emphasis on "self cleaning" with all their oil, especially PU.
