The Nissan manual recommends 5/30 ALL THE TIME,but say's can use 10/30 10/40 if temps are above 0 DEGREES F.

I just picked up some 10/40 Chevron supreme at my Family dollar store 2.19qrt. They also have 5/30 which is ISO,why isn't the 10/40 ISO BRANDED?. They are both SM RATED,and both were manufactured on 9-07.What are the lowest temps you would go with the 10/40 IN A Nissan exterra V6?
