I finally picked up a XG12060 for the Malibu at my local WM.

Nice!! So it looks like they <span style="font-style: italic">will</span> be stocked at WM afterall.

I chatted with Fram CS yesterday and I asked when the XG12060 will be available in brick and mortar stores. They answered with something along the lines of "we received information from stores that they dont feel this is a high enough demand model to carry in stores." Makes sense given that...

That's crazy, I've been using these filters for my OCI's and never had a problem. Oreilly's should easily swap it for you and then send it back to the manufacturer. Keep us posted.

I've been running the 5w30 d1g1 in my Caravan for about 7K miles and its been great. MPG is right where it should be. I've got a box of 5w30 d1g2 ready to go this weekend for her. The same oil is going on the Malibu as well.
