I just phoned into one of my local AAP. They said it is limited lifetime warranty and only allow a one time replacement, regardless if it is for wear and tear or defect. Also applies to their rotors, one time replacement only under the two year warranty.

I would go the Rockauto route if you want more premium selection and cheaper pricing on products. Raybestos EHT, Beck Arnley 089 series (Nissin) or Akebono ProAct pads paired with Centric Premium 120 rotors would be a solid choice. AAP would be a good option if you prefer the lifetime warranty...
