Oil consumption has gone up what 30x since the 70s? When you say relatively new you act like the 70s was only a few years ago. That was a long long time ago. I bet half the posters on this forum werent around in the 70s. Supply and Demand is why oil prices have gone up. And expect 250 dollar...

I think they are using a mix of grp 3 and GTL in the new ultra hence the higher Noack. Also they have realized very few customers are after high end oils. Maybe they want to leave the market to Redline and Amsoil. Shell is a large organization they don't need boutique oils such as ultra.

What do you guys like? Which holds up in fuel dilution and sheering. I havent read much about how pennzoil ultra sheers vs others. The VI is quite high Which is a more pure oil? And what do you prefer?
