    Castrol Edge EP/0W-20, 6,011 Miles, 2018 Tacoma 2GR-FKS

Fair enough. Should have built up more of a trend.

OEM oil filter. OEM air intake filter changed around 30k or so.

    Castrol Edge EP/0W-20, 6,011 Miles, 2018 Tacoma 2GR-FKS

Kind of stumped by this one. I do about 80-90% highway driving with the Taco (sometimes hard accelerations). Previous oils have been either Valvoline 0W-20 or M1 EP 0W-20. As some may know, its been unusually hot during this UOA period in FL, perhaps that's the cause? After this drain, I filled...

    Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 5W-40, 2000mi, 2020 Toyota Supra

10k miles/12 months I wanted something more robust vs the 0w20. Car is tuned and I beat on it a fair bit and wanted the added protection.

    Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 5W-40, 2000mi, 2020 Toyota Supra

Quieter at idle. That's about it.

    Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 5W-40, 2000mi, 2020 Toyota Supra

Thoughts on cause for not being as stellar of a report as the others you've seen? Fuel% doesn't seem extreme. Possible residual 0w20 vs fuel?

    Motul 8100 X-Cess Gen 2 5W-40, 2000mi, 2020 Toyota Supra

Short mileage, I know, but wanted to see how the engine was wearing vs the spec'd SN C5 0w-20. Previous analysis stated try another sample at 2k-3k miles. 1st sample is the factory fill, 2nd sample was with the unique 0w-20 specifically made for the Supra from Toyota.

Great engine, great analysis. What weights do other markets spec?

    B58 Cam/Roller Wear

    Curious why you say so.

    B58 Cam/Roller Wear

Is this a concern? New to these engines so not sure what normal wear should be. 4800 miles.

I don't see anything 'fine' about these. And most are break in samples.

    New Motul Lineup

Glad you bumped this up. I have a VOA out for Motul X-Cess Gen2 5W40. Awaiting results. I will perform a UOA on the A90 Supra when it is time (suggestions on mileage welcome).

    BMW B58 Engine Oil Recommendation

Sorry to revive this but wanted state what I ended up choosing. Went with Motul 5W-40 X-Cess Gen 2. Shall see how it works out. While its not cheaper than most OTF options, its about the same price for the "GR Supra C5 oil" from the stealership. Thanks for advise and the wealth of knowledge...

Toyota GR Supra 0W-20 C5 Oil

I saw the Spain part, but wasn't sure about the blended part. Any reason for those two suggested oils?

Toyota GR Supra 0W-20 C5 Oil

Didn't mean to sound harsh, just wasn't sure what you meant. Thanks for the background. Should have done better searching.
