HPL Premium Plus 0w20, 4000 miles, 2020 Honda Accord 2.0T

Im fairly sure HPL uses esters in the base, these alter/skew the oxidation measurement upward.

That is a most hateful job in most cases.

    I want to like Tesla...but...

Warranty work - sure. Some of the indys I know get the exact same dealer stuff before the guys at the dealerships get it or get trained. The independent truck guys often more know about them than certain dealers. Out doubt this will be the case with your new Kia however so completely...

Boats are all over the place. I/O's (sterndrive, outdrive - trimmable drive shaped somewhat like a Z) are the most restrictive with sub 1K Idle and 6K peak. I/O water jacketed headers and high performance manifolds are heart stoppingly expensive. 3-5K for manifolds, 5-15K for big tube headers...

Yeah thats about where the breathing stops through something like that - sounds about right. Not familiar with PCM - is that an inboard or v-drive?

What kind of power does that make through that manifold?

Elon Musk Expects Tesla’s Main Rival Will Be a Chinese EV Maker

Peter Zeihan has really solid insights to their problems. They have incredibly serious problems. Several stem from population. They do not have enough internal demand to keep their industry alive. Most of the high tech workers are imported. Their own people cannot build or operate chip fabs...

Rumor: GM May Use Cylindrical Cells in Future EV Models

Yeah - thats going to mess with the balance - unless you can find one aged similarly.

Rumor: GM May Use Cylindrical Cells in Future EV Models

It's not a direct reference but a picture of cylindricals in an LFP article. https://electrek.co/2022/04/22/tesla-using-cobalt-free-lfp-batteries-in-half-new-cars-produced/ LFP packs also negates the "cobalt" child labor argument - odd though, people were never concerned about the same child...

Roller, Ive done both though. In a car or a jet boat - I dont care much about idle quality or low end power either. You can do all kinds of stuff that makes easy HP when you dont have to worry about this. Boats with outdrives are much harder to build for. Boats tend to revert water back into...

This is the shanghai produced car ONLY. LFP and prismatic aren't synonymous - tesla also uses LFP cylindrical. Im pretty sure Telsa was informed about how they felt about using CATL as the supplier in this instance.

Id say this is pretty close to what you should get. I'm curious to see if you can stabilize your dyno runs at 3K or if you will have start at 3500 Grinding in advance is convenient. I run the same 236/242 and 110 LSA, but less lift .510.

https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a37552121/chevy-bolt-battery-recall-deep-dive-details/ GM says other things. GM says it has identified two different manufacturing defects. Those variable use conditions combine to produce a different pattern of heating and cooling for virtually every Bolt...

Rumor: GM May Use Cylindrical Cells in Future EV Models

Sure. The big one so far was the bolt. The chevy bolt battery failures are placed squarely at LG chems feet and resulted in the recall of every one that was manufactured. Hyundai recalled 82K cars for battery replacements. More often we see "hobbling" of the car from either a charge or...

It's interesting to me that you you automatically infer an Indy as being inferior to a dealer. I've had good work done at dealers and at Indies, overall my experience with Indies has been overwhelmingly positive. When I pick an indy I effectively pick the guy working on my car, at a dealer...

Project Farm - Tests Gas Chain Saws

Sorry about your bud - not sure what other tool you use to get the job done. I started learning from dad and grandpa as a kid and to me it's just another tool. Never had a problem with my Stihl flippy caps, but they are a bit odd.
