Have you ever had a fuel issue from a gas station?

As a county hazmat rep... thank you.

Have you ever had a fuel issue from a gas station?

Only on the water... coincidentally above ground tanks too.

People who trade in vehicles after 0-2 years for silly reasons. Are people really this bad with finances?

At this point in ownership it's been cheaper to own it than pay the lease payment. Just spit balling but somehow the average monthly payment people make on a vehicle is in the 700$ range. (Had to double check that.) Being generous with trucks I figure $450 to $500 a month is probably about the...

People who trade in vehicles after 0-2 years for silly reasons. Are people really this bad with finances?

I'm not a small dude by any means and have rode in the second row with the front seat back and it's not terrible. Dad's F150 crew is arguably worse because you can't push your feet out under the seat in front of you but space wise does have an order more room for sure. I'm a bit more torso than...

People who trade in vehicles after 0-2 years for silly reasons. Are people really this bad with finances?

That originally was what I was doing with my 19 as far as acquisition... But I came to find out I was too picky and a lot of it came down to color and options as I intended to keep whatever he found. A very good friend found a trade in that was nearly what I wanted, repeat client of his and knew...

People who trade in vehicles after 0-2 years for silly reasons. Are people really this bad with finances?

I had a coworker trade a ram 1500 for a titan because it was 1 mpg better on the highway and 5$ less a month. He had the ram 5 months. He is not able to afford it. It's a mix I think... for the average buyer it is an impulse and they do typically settle for whats on the lot and don't actually...

    Tire Manufacturers and their sub-brands

Hercules is technically in the good year group as well. I don't believe they are owned by them but cooper/goodyear is the contractor for tire production?

Do people park backwards in parking spaces where you live?

I actually thought about you today. Had a women rip out of a parking spot in reverse as I was passing through the lot. My girlfriend screamed and I chuckled and said "we're about to see how well her reverse cross traffic alert/braking works." Needless to say Lexus's seems to be okay on that...

Water main and sewer line insurance through "the water company"

My primary job is working for the water company. I actually run the water plant. But as others said, our authority is responsible to the curbstop (shut off at the street) and the meter itself, though it is the customers responsibility to protect the meter from freezing and other damages. Any...

Having someone else work on your car.... car guy sin or not?

If you don't mind perusing the usual market places, you can get good used ones for ~$500 or less. I ended up with an OTC6494 though. Not usable on tight coils is the only drawback. As far as working on my stuff. Same as others said. Case by case. On the GM 8 speed I would rather the dealer do...

Post your Gas Mileage : Calculated

Ford builds them as fast as they can. Ultimately why I didn't get one is... A. And I mean no offense by this, it was cheap feeling at the original price, it's an insult at it's current msrp. But I did look and was considering one at one point. B. Not enough towing capacity. My boat would be...

    Rental Car Review: 2026 Camry

Do people park backwards in parking spaces where you live?

I'm pretty convinced a bad driver is always a bad driver. Pull out or back out it's usually the same... pathetic and no sense of care for their surroundings. The amount of times ive watched a corolla do a 5 point turn leaving a parking spot in reverse in a lot where you can do it in one sweep in...

Thoughts on the Silverado 2.7 turbo engine

For how much more pleasant the experience is i typically would take the loss... outside the noise anyway. That's really the only reason I'll never own one. I'm sensitive to certain sounds and that engine drives me nuts.

Thoughts on the Silverado 2.7 turbo engine

Is 16 the sbc based 4.3 or when they introduced the LT based one? I know the LT was an order of magnitude better... but it's still a v6 in a full size.

Spark plug replacement - 2015 GM Canyon 3.6L

It was about a 4 beer job on my 19. That doesn't include yelling at the dealer for selling me the incorrect plugs for my application. I know the LFX is a little different but that's in line with quotes in the northeast and why I did it myself... where they typically try to bend you over.

Thoughts on the Silverado 2.7 turbo engine

I've seen consistently about 1 MPG better towing NA but you typically accept the penalty for how much less painful it is letting the turbo eat. BSFC is nearly always worse on boosted vehicles though. The 2.7 has pulled power down when the 5.3 hasn't and vise versa. If given the option I'd take...
