    BMW (Mahle) 517506-10 - 4K C&P

1 year, 4K miles. Clean and mint off a 2017 R1200GS. Could have gone 2x the mileage, along with the oil. Purchased the Mahle version of the filter for all future changes. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/pnjdpnfw1347cp3/AACcIGHO6SFflT3y56SC_pZGa?dl=0

    Champion COS10575 - 5K Miles C&P

I continue to be impressed by this stash of Champion filters I purchased on Rock Auto close out a few years back. Original thread: Virgin C&P https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/champion-cos10575-cos10590-c-p.306677/ Thread of a 10590 I cut open a while back: COS10590 C&P...

    M1 AFE 0W16, 5178 mi OCI, 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid A25A-FXS

The Sienna Hybrid launched in 2020. If someone is rebuilding those engines 2 years later, that should answer all our questions ;) A Sienna ain't no Camry... weight/load alone will make a difference on fuel dilution. DI, low starting viscosity, auto stop technology, short trips, 87 octane fuel...

    M1 AFE 0W16, 5178 mi OCI, 2021 Toyota Sienna Hybrid A25A-FXS

Wowzers, haven't been here in a while and this is the first UOA I've looked at since back. Too thin. I would put 0w30 in there if it were my van. I am looking at a Sienna hybrid to replace one of our autos.

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

1 year later the transmission shifts perfectly, and still no shudder. Very pleased with this fluid.

    Super Tech 20w50 Motorcycle oil

Yes, sir! That's my winter oil (along with the leftover Rotella laying around)... got about 12 quarts of the 10w40 too :) Surprised how well that oil performs.... road the 20w50 all the way down to Georgia and back last year in the 650. That wicked slick shifting sure was nice on those roads...

    World's Best Adventure Ride.

Thanks for posting... there's definitely a strong allure to going off the beaten path. Man, they were ripping the dirt corners on those little bikes! Love it.

    Super Tech 20w50 Motorcycle oil

I bought a large stash of Valvoline MC 20w50 on sale at WM a couple years ago.. think I paid $4/quart. I've run that 20w50 in both my water cooled 650 and 1000. Shifts like butter :)

Another oil change by time or mileage question

Your bike won't know the difference IMO. That's low miles on good oil, and if the bike is stored in reasonable conditions between rides the oil could go years. I'm on the other end of the spectrum... pushing oil past the 6k kms Suzuki recommends, usually because I don't want to change my oil...

    Bikers don't judge...

I tried to get the last row off my knobby shinkos running Deals Gap with a full load from TN... came close 😁

    Ultra-Power WL10010 - 2017 Dodge Caravan - Pics

This is one of the inexpensive filters I purchased from Rock Auto a couple of years ago and has approximately 10k kms running Valvoline (WB) 5w30. I was pleasantly surprised with the shape and integrity of the media after seeing the OEM filter with loads of wavy media after the same OCI. Very...

    ACDelco PF64 (2 versions) - Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Pics

Finally got around to cutting open the three PF64's that were installed by the dealer during their regular maintenance over the past 1.5 years. All looked in good shape, no tears, no major issues. The new 'ecore' style has a tighter cage arrangement. I certainly doesn't look like media could...

Dodge Grand Caravan trans service or not?

Got my local garage to do a dump and fill on our 2017 van. I made sure they used the Mopar ATF+4 since I'm still under warranty. Wish I would have thought about the drain plug prior. 85k km on the van now.. I think a 50k mile interval makes sense, especially considering we tow with the van.

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

And here is the response I got from M1 which surprised me:

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

I went with the GM specific fluids for both the transfer case and the rear diff. That way they have a record of it when/if I have a service visit.

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

Looking at the work order, they used 20 quarts! I found the TSB and it appears that was a full flush and replace with their new fancy fluid replacement tool.. the TSB specifically mentions needing 16-20 quarts for the fluid swap. Dealer said they wanted $40 a quart... so that’s $800CDN in fluid...

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

@tig1 would this be ok in an open diff like on my ATS? I'm asking because the product mentions LS: https://www.mobil.ca/en-ca/lubricants/for-personal-vehicles/personal-vehicle-lubricants/products/mobil-1-synthetic-gear-lubricant-75w-90/

2017 Cadillac ATS 2.0T - Mobil 1™ Synthetic LV ATF HP

Due to the inability to get M1 products shipped to my door, I'm considering RedLine or Amsoil for the 75w90 diff fluid. For the transfer case, there does not appear to be any option other than the GM option from the dealer.
