Project Farm - Tests Hose Clamps

All of you test hose clamps everyday. I know I do. I've yet to have one fail. Project Farm is running on E. A lot of his tests have been duds lately. JMO.

Parking ticket - contesting it because of incorrect date on citation

I will say that I got a parking ticket in one of these shopping center developments that has parking patrol (NOT law enforcement). The person who entered the tag number put down a B instead of an 8. I threw it away. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

    Do you still use checks?

We probably write 3-5 checks a year, maybe more if we have repairmen come to the house to do something, they usually want a check. I try not to, especially if it needs to be mailed. I despise having to use the USPS more than most anything.

    Tipping hotel housekeeping

My tips are this: 1. Don’t trash the place 2. Clean up, make it as efficient as possible for them 3. Don’t touch much I think this is as good as a $10 tip Same goes for eating out. Ever notice what most tables / etc look like when the average party gets up and leaves? Usually looks like 15...

    '17 Toyota Highlander V6 3.5L 2GR-FKS - SuperTech Advanced Full Synth 0W-20 10,368 miles

Just reading through some of this thread - 1. I had, for a few years, gone with the higher mileage OCIs, primarily using Mobil 1; in my 2006 Ridgeline and then in my new 2014 Tundra. I wasn't exactly comfortable with this, but all the cool guys at BITOG said it was ok. 2. A few years ago...

2017 4Runner 50k ATF change. Toyota WS or Maxlife?

OP: Interested to see which way you went. I have three Toyotas and I have been using Amsoil OE Transmission fluid in them, multiple services. I have read a good many people are using Valvoline Max Life. As another member said, Ravenol has a product that I would trust also. I'm using Ravenol...

post your latest transmission lubricant change.

2015 Lexus RX350, 190,800 miles Dropped the transmission pan, removed filter, cleaned pan, new gasket, filter and ~4 quarts of Amsoil OE Transmission fluid. Heated up to 113°F, and opened the check plug to drain out excess. This is probably the last transmission service I will do on this...

Windshield washer fluid - DYI mix?

One major issue is I live in an EPA-controlled county and there's 13 of these counties, so it's difficult to buy and stock washer fluid that has real ingredients in it that really help. Making it, I can put some 90% ISO alcohol in it and whatever else I choose. I'd rather put my money into...

200,000 miles is in fact rare, only 1% of vehicles reach it

Naw, more like a fresh Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, pintos and cornbread with some fresh Toll House Cookies. And half and half tea. No HFCS here
