How to properly wash with out contact.

I agree rinseless wash and BRB work well. I've used ONR and Ech20 and like both. ONR is my go-to. Such a versatile product. I use it on interiors/glass as well. For touchless, the Bilt Hamber is impressive. It's the only one I've seen that actually will clean well without touching the surface.

    2022 Mazda CX-9 - High Performance Lubricants PCMO 10W-20 - 4,897 Miles

I've always wondered about how VII and fuel don't seem to work well together. Gokhan talked about it in the past. I think that's one reason why Mobil 1 0w30 AFE loses substantial viscosity when there is fuel dilution. There was a recent UOA where it lost 36% of its viscosity in 3k miles.

How to properly wash with out contact.

The only touchless product that works is Bilt Hamber Touchless, but even then, you still need to do a contact wash. https://clean-garage.com/bilt-hamber-touch-less-5-liter-snow-foam-pre-wash-touch-less-169oz/

WRX vs. Elantra N vs. Civic Si vs. GTI

Reliability would be one of my concerns with the VW/Hyundai so I'd likely go with the WRX then Honda. I'd like to see how the CVT WRX performs. I've driven manuals for 20 years and not really into it anymore.

Has PAO % of Mobil 1 0W20 EP been Reduced?

I feel the same. Based on the msds of June 2022, it does appear EP 0w20 contains a bit more Group III than IV in its formulation, or at the very least some amount of III.

Can UOA miss a bad engine condition?

Yes because a UOA only measures a very limited particle size (5 to 8 microns).

Looks like M1 EP 5w30 formulation has possibly changed.

I asked them that a while back. Some type of corrosion but could be inconsequential. It's been discussed a lot on here. Tbn drops off quickly too. I still think it's more of a racing/track oil than daily driver. Oddly enough it does really well in certain motors where Tbn does not drop and...
