I've owned alot of Amcs with the inline six. They always seem to prefer thicker oil.So now that I'm on the synthetic oil bandwagon,is Castrol edge 5w50 a good choice?
I Just got a nice 82 Eagle with 200000 on The clock. Its a auto and 258 carbed six.I'm wondering if I should use atf+4 in the trans and transfer case, and Delo 80w90 in the rear?
I have a 78 Concord with a 258 straight six that I drive daily.I'm currently using 5w30 and it runs really well. But I scored some 5w20 on sale last week and I'm due for an oil Change.Thoughts?
Just picked up a clean 78 Amc Concord with a 258.I want to run hdeo but am wondering if I should go with Rotella 5w40 Syn,10w30 semi syn,or 15w40,straight 30 conventional.Or possibly Delo 10w30?
I was at auto zone and noticed delo 75w90 rear diff oil was cheaper than all the conventionals..I was going to get some to change the fluid on the diff in my 82 Buick lesabre RWD..the guy atctge parts counter said it would be too thin..is this true?
