    Aircraft Tempest 48108-2

Tempest was slightly less expensive and has the internal magnet. Although I read somewhere that the magnet may not be included in the future; apparently there is a shortage of magnets.

Looking for the best UV protection Wax/Sealant.

I have several boats, cars and an aircraft under my care. I have been using some retail waxes such as meguiars 50, Shurhold pro polish, meguiars gold paste, 303 on rubber and soft goods. These product seem ok, but I would like to hear what you guys think is the best of the best, primary concern...

    Carquest R84502

I believe it’s a nitrile valve. My truck has startup rattle, sometimes it won’t rattle even after sitting for 2 weeks with old oil. Sometimes it rattles with fresh oil and the Fl500s. It has been very random, truck lives in south FL so no really cold starts, just seems to do more with the...

    Carquest R84502

Off a 2014 F150 3.5l ecoboost 94,200 miles 4,200 miles on filter, Mobil Super synthetic 10w-30. No tears noticed, adbv held oil in can. Replaced with a carquest blue 84502 & Mobil Super synthetic 10w-30. These filters work fine for me, usually a 5k OCI, I've noticed less startup rattle...

    Virgin Purolator L14460 Cut

Y Yeah it's probably fine, I'll also add that this one was by far the easiest filter I've ever cut, one step up from a Budweiser can!

    Virgin Purolator L14460 Cut

A Freebie unsold filter from the parts store. This filter is not equipped with an ADBV. looks like the metal end caps disagreed with the press, also seal gasket is too thin IMO.

    Diff fluid

I’ve used Valvoline 75w-90 and 22lbs. on diff cover filled a knuckle below fill Hole. truck runs fine towing about 10,000lbs a few times a year. With his heavy towing I recommend a brake fluid flush and bleed; 2 quarts of dot3 should do it. Also a good trick to oil filter removal is to stretch...

Do trains and planes need wheel alignments and wheel balancing?

I’ve changed some GA aircraft tires, there is usually an orange or yelllow mark indicating the light spot, line up the valve stem to that position just as roofless says.
