Tesla driver charged with manslaughter after Autopilot crash that killed two

There is an average of accidents per X mile driven in every country. Any assist device either adds or subtracts from that. Of course you need to be able to collect the data to begin with to start to measure that.

Tesla driver charged with manslaughter after Autopilot crash that killed two

Levels is one issue, open reporting is another. I wish MB made their stats public on the usage of it like Tesla does. A much as every wreck a tesla has stands out the overall risk is reduced with the use of " autopilot"

The taycan charges great - when its warm. It's not so great in the cold and thats the issue in that test.

Carwow compares i4 M50 vs Model 3 Performance

The BMW is the least efficient and charges the slowest. The 800 Volt Taycan architectures adds little to nothing beyond the 400V model 3.

Ive not seen anything from Tesla that doenst preface using it properly. Love to see that if you can actually come up with one. On the name... ok I guess if your dumb enough to believe that after reading and signing the user agreement. They probably should have named it something like T...

Anyone with an EV that lives in extreme cold?

Except the heat pump cars do pretty well in regular winter weather conditions Bjorn Nylan figured something like 36 hours just keeping it warm going nowhere.

Tesla driver charged with manslaughter after Autopilot crash that killed two

yup. Or the gun for the murder or the knife for the murder..... People will go to any length to shift burden of responsibility, the excuses have evolved over time. My fav was the audi 500 debacle- " The throttle was stuck wide open and the brakes simultaneously failed" - but then both...

Top chevy trims are nearly if not identical. Hardware is the same. Whats not equal is warranty service - there are way more Chevy dealers than GMC.

    Charging and taking advantage

As a guy with probably more cylinders to love than anyone I thought they would be awful - they aren't. The subject of road trips actually comes up more than any other (almost to the exclusion of local trips) and it's one of the least understood. After many trips with them I have no issues...

It will be interesting to see where Mile per KWH settles as well as what the charging speed from single digit to 80% will be in hot and cold weather.

“For BP, car chargers to overtake pumps in profitability race”

Pretty common out here. Here's a shell on the 5 with 4 high speed chargers. Note all gas pumps are full at this stop but it has open chargers.

Tesla Used to Mine for Crypto

Meh...My engineer buddies have hacked into everything including removing the limiters on a chevy volt. Better off just buying another PC than using your cars cpu / gpu. Kinda dumb using the car, but ok.

What things did your parents tell you that weren't true

Might as well leave the pool after lunch. As a young kid we had to pay to swim, and if you get to the pool in the AM you get all day expect the "cramp" break after lunch. What the he!! you gonna do for three hours at a public pool if you aren't swimming?
