It's interesting how people have different experiences with the same products. I've always had good results with both NGK and ND. In fact, many Japanese bike owner's manuals list the part numbers for both. I'm not discounting your experience; I just find it interesting.

HiFlo makes a good filter. We use either HiFlo or NAPA Gold on our bikes.

You will be fine using either the 0W20 or 5W20 syn.

I would guess that Wix has contracts with multiple mfrs/plants, and you simply got filters from different ones.

Yes, it's not very clear, but here's how I interpret it: -0W20, 5W20, 0W30, 5W30, and 5W40 grades can be used if the oil meets both ACEA and API. -The other grades shown on the chart only need to meet one or the other.

The Maxlife blend will be fine. However, if you want to keep to try it, Valvoline also makes a full syn version of Maxlife.

I would continue using the PSF. (BTW, there's no "t" in Dexron.)

This post is timely. Our forecast for the week looks pretty hot, so I washed out the coils on our outdoor unit on Saturday. It is now 23 years old, and the cap is original. It made me think I really should have a spare on hand!

I find it interesting that the bottle gives instructions for diesel engines, but 1.5 in the SDS says "RESTRICTIONS ON USE: THIS STABILIZER IS FOR GASOLINE ENGINES ONLY".
